broken. The fifth metatarsal bone or the outside metatarsal on Roethlisberger's right foot is broken, the Post-Gazette has learned. It was injured during the first quarter of Sunday's game in Buffalo. The Steelers have been listing the foot as sprained. Roethlisberger went through another practice today and has said he fully expects to play in Baltimore this Sunday night. However, as soon as this news broke, ESPN reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers denied that Roethlisberger's foot was broken. The Steelers, who have listed the quarterback's foot as sprained, denied that Roethlisberger's foot was broken in a statement Thursday.
